At Capital Expertise Comptable, I gained valuable experience in digital marketing and web development, blending strategic planning with hands-on execution. My missions included creating and maintaining websites, optimizing SEO performance, and managing digital content. I also contributed to the launch and enhancement of multiple websites, including www.capital-expertise-comptable.com. This experience allowed me to strengthen my skills in web design, project management, and marketing communication while ensuring consistent brand messaging across digital platforms.
Sitemap: Structuring the foundation of a successful website
While there are no official rules for creating a sitemap, a well-structured tree is key to optimizing the user experience and search engine visibility. For Capital Expertise Comptable, I conducted a comprehensive audit of the existing website before designing a new sitemap. This ensured that the structure was clear, user-friendly, and aligned with SEO best practices, paving the way for better navigation and indexing by search engines.
Website Information & Source Code Analysis: Enhancing SEO and Content Structure
To ensure optimal SEO performance for Capital Expertise Comptable, I created a detailed Excel document listing key website elements, including URLs, titles, meta descriptions, heading tags (H1, H2, H3, etc.), and word counts.
The process involved displaying the source code for each page to identify tags and highlight any errors. Additionally, I reviewed existing meta descriptions, counted the associated words, and proposed improved meta descriptions with the right balance of keywords to boost search engine visibility and user engagement.
Competitor Analysis: Benchmarking and Strategic Insights
To strengthen Capital Expertise Comptable’s digital presence, I conducted a comprehensive competitor analysis using Yooda Insight. This involved studying CEC’s main web competitors by entering their URLs into the tool and collecting the top 10 search expressions they ranked for.
For each competitor, I compiled a detailed list including :
- Search expressions,
- Positioned pages,
- SEO traffic,
- Competitors,
- Rankings,
- Search phrases,
- Page positions.
This analysis provided valuable insights into industry trends and opportunities, guiding the development of a more competitive SEO strategy for CEC.
SEO Analysis of Competitor Sites: Enhancing Keyword Strategy
Using Semrush, I performed a detailed SEO analysis of Capital Expertise Comptable’s website, which had been live for over 12 months, as well as its main competitors. This tool provided essential data, such as keyword rankings, traffic insights, and competition levels.
The analysis allowed me to identify:
- The most relevant keywords for better ranking,
- Gaps in our current keyword strategy,
- The level of competition for each keyword
By leveraging this research, I was able to recommend keyword optimizations to boost CEC’s online visibility and improve its overall SEO performance.
Domain Name Proposal: Crafting the Right Identity
To ensure the best possible digital identity for Capital Expertise Comptable, I created a comprehensive list of potential domain names for the new website. This list included variations with hyphens, dots, and different formats, ensuring no essential option was overlooked.
The goal was to find a domain name that was clear, memorable, and aligned with SEO best practices, ultimately helping to strengthen the online presence of CEC.
Sales Brochure Creation for « The Formation »: A Strategic Communication Tool
I developed several sales brochures for « The Formation, » a service dedicated to companies and individuals. Since February 2021, « The Formation » has partnered with Starting Block, led by Mr. Benoît MARSY. This collaboration grants The Formation access to a new database, offering opportunities to present additional commercial offers to existing clients.
My role was to craft a compelling brochure showcasing The Formation’s diverse services, tailored to both Starting Block’s and The Formation’s clientele. These brochures not only represent the company’s offerings but also embody its image, values, and business goals.
Creating an effective brochure means capturing attention. Every design element—be it logo, color palette, or typography—plays a crucial role in standing out from competitors and ensuring a high conversion rate. Similar to social media communication or website creation, this project involved storytelling to convert potential leads into loyal customers.
Setting Up the CEC Forecast Editorial Calendar and TF Facebook/Instagram Strategy
One of the first steps in creating impactful social media content is establishing an Editorial Calendar. This tool offers multiple benefits, ensuring consistency and organization in content creation. It helps to:
- Maintain rigor and avoid repetition in the posts,
- Align content with key messaging and objectives.
The Editorial Calendar is not just for scheduling; it is an excellent tool for visualizing and organizing tasks. For « The Formation » and CEC’s social media strategy, the calendar included vital details such as:
- Publication date and time,
- Subject and target audience,
- Content type and format (e.g., image, video, etc.),
- Objectives for each post (engagement, lead generation, etc.),
- Visuals, hashtags, mentions, and relevant links,
- Post status and any additional comments.
This shared document with the communications team facilitated seamless collaboration and ensured every post aligned with our broader content strategy, helping drive engagement and enhance brand visibility on Facebook and Instagram.
Website Analytics Data Analysis (Looker Studio)
Analyzing website performance is crucial for refining digital marketing strategies. For both Capital Expertise Comptableand The Formation, I conducted in-depth analysis using Google Analytics and Looker Studio (Google Data Studio). The key insights from Looker Studio were as follows:
- The most popular sources of website traffic,
- The daily number of visits per user,
- The time visitors spend on each page, and more.
These metrics provide valuable insights into user behavior and the effectiveness of our SEO efforts. Specifically for The Formation, this data allowed us to assess the impact of our SEO strategies. Key findings include:
- For Capital Expertise Comptable, 55.6% of the traffic came from Google’s SEO.
- For The Formation, 44.7% of the traffic originated from SEO.
- Additionally, 35.5% of CEC’s traffic came from direct searches, indicating repeat visitors.
These insights demonstrate the importance of SEO in driving traffic and the need for continuous optimization. By utilizing these data points, we could fine-tune our strategy to enhance both visibility and engagement, driving more organic traffic and improving overall site performance.
